Hi, I’m
William Zhu.

Mechanical / Aerospace / Design

I’m a student in Penn’s Jerome Fisher Management & Technology program, studying Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics and Business Analytics at Wharton.

My experience spans aircraft design, aerodynamic and structural analysis, and mechanical fabrication. On my VTOL project, I’ve taken on everything from initial sizing and electronics selection to the airframe’s mechanical design—connecting the calculations to the details of how the aircraft comes together.

Away from the projects, you might find me flying a plane, on the tennis court, out on a hike, or watching the Seahawks (Go Hawks!!).
